FHHD Duo (Francesca Havelock & Ella Hedigan-Dattner) was born out of a shared love for improvisation and sonic exploration.

The duo combines synthetic drums inspired by early downtempo and ambient electronica, spoken word poetry and the acoustic, dreamlike textures of the harp to produce immersive soundscapes that oscillate between so-called “genres”.

Their sound aims to create tension between structure and spontaneity, each performance is unique and exists only on one occasion.

Anchored by constantly evolving motifs and guided by instinct — the music ventures freely in all directions.
